APPLICATION PROCEDURES
For Brightening Stainless Steel: Immerse in a solution of DIAKITE BR-300, 50% to full strength, depending upon the type and degree of soils to be removed. Use at 21 to 38℃(room temperature). Do not use above 43℃.
For removing multi-coat from plastic lens: DIAKITE BR-300 may be used at full strength at room temperatures for 10 minutes by tank application. Working time will depend upon the type and degree of multi-coat to be removed. Do not use above 43℃.
SOLUTION CONTROL:
Generally it is not titrated. The timing of addition or dumping of solution will be determined when cleaning performance down.
NOTE ON USE .......... See Material Safety Data Sheet
Do not use on food contact surfaces. Keep concentrate away from combustible, organic, and readily oxidizing materials. Avoid contact of concentrate with glass, ceramics or concrete. If contact is made, rinse surface promptly and thoroughly with water. Avoid contact with mixing with chlorine-releasing materials.
Safety and Handling Precaution: DIAKITE BR-300 is a highly acidic material containing ammonium hydrogen fluoride. Direct contact causes severe burns that may or may not be immediately painful or visible. Harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wear rubber gloves, safety goggles, or face shield, and suitable protective clothing when handling dry powder or solutions. Thoroughly wash clothing after using. Avoid breathing mist. Use adequate ventilation. Do not take internally.
First aid in case of contact or suspicion of contact: Prompt medical attention is absolutely necessary. For eyes, immediately flush with cool water for at least 15 to 30 minutes. Hold eyelids apart while flushing to ensure contact of water with all surfaces of eyes and lids. Get prompt medical attention. For skin, immediately flush with large quantities of cool water until all acid is removed. Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes. In case medical attention is delayed, apply a generous amount of paste made from powdered magnesium oxide or milk of magnesia and glycerin, freshly prepared. If swallowed, wash out mouth thoroughly with water. Gives water to drink without delay. Follow with milk or 60 milliliters of milk of magnesia. Immediately contact a physician. If inhaled, remove from exposure. Get medical attention. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
